The Happy Dog Summer Scavenger Hunt
The Summer Scavenger Hunt is a photo challenge open to every dog owner in the UK. You get a list of 40 prompts across four categories. Your job is to find and photograph your dog with any 25 of them before 31st August 2026.
Complete them at home if your dog does not like to leave the house, at your local park, or out and about in your town. Choose which prompts you want to do and work through them at your own speed. There is no rush and no deadline pressure until 31st August. Your photos stay on your phone, we never ask to see them. We run entirely on the honour system.

Sign Up and Pay
Register using the form below. You will immediately receive your 40-prompt checklist and instructions by email. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Choose Your 25 Prompts
Browse all 40 prompts across four categories and pick the ones that suit your dog, your home, and your lifestyle. There is no set order and no required prompts.
Find and Photograph
Head out on walks, potter in the garden, or look around the house. Snap your dog with each prompt. Keep the photos as memories, they are yours and we never need to see them.
Log as You Go
Tick off each prompt as you complete it. Use our official checklist PDF or your own method. A handwritten list, a notes app, or anything that works for you is fine.
Submit Your Log
Once you have completed 25 prompts, send us your list by email, online form, or Facebook Messenger. All logs must be submitted by 31st August 2026.
Receive Your Rosette
We post your real sky blue and green rosette within 5 working days of receiving your log. You and your dog earned it.

A short, friendly set of rules to make sure the hunt is fair and enjoyable for every dog and every owner.
Find any 25 of the 40 prompts
You choose which 25 to complete. There are no required prompts and no set order. Pick whatever works best for your dog and your life.
Complete and submit by 31st August 2026
The hunt runs now through 31st August 2026. Submit your log any time you finish. You do not need to wait until the end.
Photos stay with you
Your photos are private and never shared with us. They are your own record of the hunt. We just need the list of which prompts you completed.
We run on the honour system
We trust you completely. No photo evidence required. Sharing photos on our Facebook page is very welcome but never expected.
Your dog's safety comes first
Never push your dog to do a prompt they are uncomfortable with. If something does not suit your dog, skip it and choose a different one.
One rosette per registration
Each registration covers one rosette. You are welcome to use more than one dog, but the £19 fee covers one rosette only. Extra rosettes are available for £15 each.
